TROG MTB – WordPress Design & Build

The Brief

Tunstall & Rendlesham Off-Road Group (TROG) needed to replace their old website and forum with a new club website to promote the activities as well as the great work they do maintaining the Tunstall Viking Mountain Bike Trail.

TROG is an inclusive mountain biking club and welcome everyone from racing snakes to those that enjoy a gentle trundle through the forest.

The Result

Woodbridge Web replaced the groups aging Joomla website with a fresh design, based upon WordPress. We created a modern design flare encompassing the exciting feel associated with mountain biking.

The website has a host of features, including membership signups with auto-recurring yearly payments, special access content and a members-only forum. Members can also chat privately with other members through their account as well as download their membership card, which entitles them to discounts at local biking retail outlets and insurance companies.

We also made sure that information regarding the ‘Viking Trail’ is easily found on Google, as it is open to the general public. The Viking Trail page is full of useful information to ensure a safe and fun day out. The Viking Trail is owned by the Forestry Commission but maintained by a group of TROG members on a volunteer basis.

The Response

The TROG website has been a huge success, ensuring that information about the club and existence of one of the finest trails in the South East of England, is easily accessible. The club has seen an increase in signups, and more importantly, the automatic yearly subscription has saved heaps of time getting in touch with members every year to ensure they continue their membership.

The membership features have also been a great success, with constant use by the members on the website.

The website has continued to perform well and we continue to keep it updated to ensure stability and security.
