Markham Funeral Service is an independent, family-run funeral director based in Suffolk, supporting families across Woodbridge, Leiston and the surrounding areas. With a focus on compassionate, personalised care, the business provides bespoke funeral arrangements designed to reflect each individual life, alongside clear guidance during what is often a difficult time.
We designed and developed a bespoke WordPress website to replace an outdated site with a more modern, structured and fully responsive platform. The new site brings together key areas including funeral services, pricing, testimonials, and about pages, making it easier for visitors to understand their options and find the information they need without feeling overwhelmed.
A strong emphasis was placed on clarity, reassurance and usability. The design uses a calm, considered colour palette, soft typography and thoughtful imagery to reflect the tone of the service. Clear calls to action are positioned throughout, alongside practical features such as downloadable pricing guides, service breakdowns, and integrated Google testimonials to build trust and credibility.
From a technical perspective, we implemented solid SEO foundations across the site, including page structure, metadata and content optimisation to support visibility in local search results. The build was designed to be easy to manage internally, with clear tutorials that allows the Markham team to update content as needed.
The website is fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Alongside the build, we provide reliable hosting and ongoing support to keep the site secure and performing well.
